Big Eddy Farmstand is based out of SkyDog Farm in Narrowsburg, NY and was created as part of a local youth workforce development program in collaboration with the Tusten Heritage Community Garden, providing purposeful jobs to the areas youth as well as skills and knowledge that will last them a lifetime. The Big Eddy Farmstand also participates in Restaurant Supported Agriculture, providing local restaurants with local produce to serve on their daily menus. There are a handful of teenagers, ranging from 16 to 18 years of age, who maintain the farm, run the farmstand, and coordinate the RSA deliveries. The Big Eddy Farmstand was started by Andrea Reynosa, who is the owner of SkyDog Farm and has taught the workers everything about farming and continues to help them become more independent in their Farmstand.
